IN THE HISTORICAL CIRCUIT OF LE MANS MARC WINS AFTER A FANTASTIC COMEBACK
Marc Marquez confirms to be unbeatable at the moment. He took his fifth consecutive victory of the season, becoming the youngest rider in the top class to achieve this result, taking the record away from Mike Hailwood.
If we add to the victory also the pole position and the fastest lap, we can say that the race weekend in France was perfect. Immediately after the start Marquez was forced to leave the track and returned to ninth position. He then starts the comeback that sees him reach and overtake Valentino Rossi (Yamaha) and conquer the first position until the end of the race.
The points in the standings become 125 with teammate Dani Pedrosa, only fifth at the finish line, second at 83 and Valentino Rossi third at 81. The next race will be the Italian GP in Mugello on June 1.
