He debuted in the 500 Championship, competed in 328 Grand Prix and won 29 world championships. Loris Capirossi was one of the great protagonists of MotoGP in the last thirty years and one of the riders most loved by the public.
Memorable dates:
• 2003 – he began competing in Moto GP with Ducati.
• 2006 – while fighting for the victory of the World Championship in Catalunya (Barcelona) he had a very serious accident that prevented him from fighting for the victory of the championship.
Capirossi was with Ducati from 2003 to 2007, winning 7 Grand Prix.
